Motocaddy’s S1 Digital electric golf trolley has a simple design which makes it very user friendly and with it being only £289, makes it one of the most popular electric golf trolleys on the market.
The frame of the golf trolley only weighs 7.9kg which makes it very easy for the golfer to fold and unfold into position. The trolley only takes about 30 seconds to set up with its single fold action. As the S1 Digital is easy to fold down into a compact size and is also pretty light, it is easy to store away into small spaces and it will easily fit into most car boots.
The S1 Digital can be operated by left or right handed golfers as the wheel speed control and quality handle is on both sides of the electric golf trolley. You can choose the speed of the S1 Digital with its nine different speed settings and as well as the on-off button they are all located on the digital control panel. As Motocaddy have made the speed controls very simple to operate its perfect for the golfer who is not a huge fan of gadgets.
The S1 Digital is powered by a third generation, powerful and highly efficient 200W motor. The motor has excellent pulling power and it can even keep going through knee deep rough. Although, if you spend most of your time in the rough your trolley’s battery might start to struggle, so would advise against letting it loose on that kind of deep rough. You have the option of an 18 or 36 hole battery to power the electric golf trolleys motor around the golf course. You will get round the golf course no problem with the 18 hole battery but would recommend that you go for the 36 hole battery.
Overall the S1 Digital is a good all round electric golf trolley especially for the money you pay for it. There seems to be a bit of an issue with the battery life after a few months of use so would highly recommend that you go for the 36 hole battery. Some golfers have problems with the S1 Digital, but they seem to vary, but each time they need to speak to Motocaddy about a problem they are more than helpful and give excellent customers service.
