Classic Legend

The Classic Legend is the upgraded version of Powakaddys Classic electric golf trolley and combines all its beast features with the technology of the Freeway. The Classic Legend is Powakaddys best value for money electric golf trolley and will set you back anywhere between £310-£340. You can get a basic Classic Legend or you can upgrade to the Classic Legend sport but that will cost more.

Powakaddy has made the Classic Legend a practical electric golf trolley and have incorporated a versatile chassis system with a detachable handle and front wheel stems.

The frame of the golf trolley is very strong and weighs only 8.9kg which makes it very lightweight and easy to transport. The Classic is easy to assemble but probably takes the longest compared to Powakaddys other electric golf trolleys. It will take about one minute to fold the trolley into position, attaching the handle, the wheels and the 18 or 36 hole battery. The good thing about the detachable handle and wheels is that it can really fit into the tightest of small spaces for storage.

Once you have assembled the Classic Legend you will see that the handle is pretty basic for an electric golf trolley but it can be used by either a right or left handed golfer. The Classic Legend is easy and comfortable to manoeuvre around the golf course as long as you have your speed settings set at the right speed for your own pace.

Choosing which speed you want the trolley to go at is as simple as clicking the button on the handle to your own comfortable pace. At the same location you can stop or start the trolley and the trolley will remember your settings for the next time you switch it back on and will go at the same pace. One feature that is great about the Classis Legend is that you can set it off in one direction without it being manned. All that is required is you deciding how far you want the trolley to travel in front of you by making a choice of three clicks. One click of the controls will send the trolley approximately 15 yards in front of you, two clicks about 30 yards and three clicks will be about 45 yards. This is great if you have a flattish terrain and just want to stroll effortlessly down the fairway or onto the next tee.

You can decide if you want to have the standard wheels the Classic Legend comes with or you can upgrade to air wheels which gives it a softer drive around the golf course. If you decide to purchase the Classic Legend we would advise to upgrade to the air wheels and generally the cost difference is not that much.

If you go for the Classic Legend Sport it comes with sports wheels as standard but you can also get air sports wheels which gives the electric golf trolley great stability.
The Classic Legend has also got a freewheel option that means you can use the trolley without the need of the battery and just like a conventional push trolley.

The Classic Legend has an almost silent drive and gear unit; it is a sealed unit which makes maintenance free. You can hear a slight noise off of the trolley when it is coming to a halt but when you are walking down the fairway you wouldn’t know it was an electric golf trolley.

To power the Classic Legend you can choose from a 26AH 18 hole battery or a 33AH 36 hole battery. Each battery comes with its own specially designed charger. Each battery will do a good job but we would always recommend to go for the 36 hole battery as you can guarantee you will get a better life span from it than you would the 18 hole battery. The 18 hole battery is lighter than the 36 hole battery so if you are looking to keep the weight down and perhaps only play 12 holes a day then the 18 hole will be ideal.
